With the price of so-called “smart guns” running at $1,399 plus $399 for the watch that is required to make it work, this represents a dramatic increase in the price of guns and dramatically reduce gun ownership if mandated. The bigger problem is the question of reliability. Yet, Senator Edward Markey from Massachusetts is pushing a new bill to mandate that all new guns be these “smart guns.”
