CPRC at Fox News: “Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun propaganda”

John Lott’s newest piece at Fox News starts this way:

When former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control groups release a report, they consistently garner massive, uncritical news coverage.  Alas. With the huge number of factual mistakes in these reports, you would think that reporters would have grown wary of pushing their propaganda.

CPRC on John Stossel’s Fox News Show discussing Bloomberg’s false claims on guns

CPRC’s John Lott appeared on John Stossel’s show to discuss people’s fears about guns and analyze two television ads put out by Michael Bloomberg’s gun control groups.  John Stossel’s show invited Bloomberg’s various gun control organizations to send a representative to debate on guns, but, as they have done so many times in the past, Shannon Watts and the rest of Bloomberg’s staff declined to participate.  …

Bloomberg’s groups continue to push to ban guns in businesses

Bloomberg’s groups have been pushing for sometime to get businesses to ban guns in their facilities.  On Monday, Panera Bread announced that it was asking customers not to bring guns to its restaurants” ((314) 984-1000).  But much of the media coverage has been misleading and simply asking people not to bring their guns with them won’t have any legal effect.  …

Bloomberg’s gun controllers use lawyers to stop political debate, what is Bloomberg afraid of?

Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety put together a video about the risks that guns supposedly pose for women.  Two points about this video:

1) This ex-husband could have seriously wounded or killed the woman without any help from a gun.

2) The presence of a gun in this case would have made a much bigger difference in the woman’s ability to defend herself than it would for a man.  …
