With just two exceptions, since at least 1950, all the mass public shootings in the United States have occurred in so-called gun-free zones, places where citizens can’t have guns for protection. Gun-free zones are rare in the United States, but those are the places where these killers go time after time.
An Über driver, Steven Rayow, a retired New York City police officer, used his permitted concealed handgun to stop a passenger from strangling him. Rayow shot the passenger in the foot when he thought that he was about to lose consciousness. The case occurred in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Uber just recently banned both drivers and passengers and from carrying guns.…

President Obama just can’t help making false claims about guns. On Friday, during his eulogy in Charleston, S.C., for Rev. Clementa Pinckney, Obama spent four minutes pushing his agenda for gun control.
But from how American violence compares with other countries to what opinion polls show, Obama kept on painting a distorted picture of violence and its causes.

A Detroit woman took a wrong turn and drove into a dangerous neighborhood. When she tried to do a U-turn, three men tried to hijack her car. Woman said that “if I had panicked, he would have killed me.” The story from ClickonDetroit:
“When I see him with the gun as he approached me to take the car, I lifted my gun up on the door and I began to shoot,” said C.C.
